The complex, completed in the fall of 2002 and dedicated the following spring, is located at North Athletic Field, adjacent to Gillis Field House. The complex includes a 500-seat grandstand with a full-equipped press box, dugouts, two batting cages and an electronic scoreboard that sports a message board. . The field dimensions are 200 feet down the lines and 201 feet co center field. New grass sod (blue grass) replaced the outfield in the fall of 2009. Considered one of the finest softball facilities on the East Coast, the Complex was recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) as one of the four Regional Turface/Field Maintenance Award winners in 2004. Army shared that honor with Texas A&M, Tennessee at Chattanooga and Southern Illinois with Stetson named the national winner.
