The United States Military Academy’s mission is educate, train and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to the nation as an officer in the United States Army. Since 1906, Army West Point has built a tradition in building great leaders through the sport of wrestling.

Since Army West Point Wrestling became an intercollegiate program in 1921, we have continued to achieve greatness following those five values. With a 682 – 445 – 37 dual record and countless standout wrestlers like NCAA Finalists Maurice Worthy, Dennis Semmel and Al Paulekas, 3x All American Phillip Simpson, and 2x National Champion Mike Natvig, Army West Point Wrestling’s Tradition only continues to grow. It is our mission to continue this tradition and shape future leaders of our country through the sport of wrestling.
